This wood-look headboard is a good value for the price. Instructions are fairly easy to follow (label the boards before starting for easier assembly). Worked great for my teenage son's room. Only downside is that you CAN NOT attach this head board to the bed frame. It stands well on its own, though.

I only wish we could have gotten this in a California King size. The bookcase is sturdy, easy to put together and came very fast. I love the extra height and the extra storage room it affords. The color is perfect and it looks great in my room.

"Technologically Impaired"
Didn't get the right parts for the job. fortunately all of the parts are mirror image, so when I got 2 identically drilled uprights for the lower section, I just made a mirror template of the left side, took one of the left side parts and drilled it for right side parts.
A little more QA would be nice guys, its big, its bulky and its expensive... I would have been very angry had I recieved two of the left side OUTER uprights instead of the INNER, since I couldn't modify the outers without it showing and would have had to send it back. As it was, it took twice as long to assemble as it should have, since I had to take a carpentry break halfway thru.

We got this headboard to go with the 12-drawer platform bed, by the same company. As long as you are well aware of what you're buying, you definitely won't be disappointed!!
It's pretty clear that this product is made of laminated particle board - never, ever a high-quality bet! It's a pretty involved - but not remotely complicated - process to get it all put together, since 100% assembly is required. Be sure the battery for your power drill is fully charged - there's a lot of screws!!
However, once assembled, we were *very* happy with this headboard! There's a lot of space to put the items that were previously on our dresser (which was replaced by the 12-drawer platform bed), and the color is beautiful!
I definitely recommend this headboard! But, like I said before, be aware of what you're purchasing - this is NOT a top-of-the-line product! It is, however, sturdy enough & attractive, easy to assemble, and a very acceptable accompanyment to the platform bed, by the same company :D

Bought this for my mother, she loves it! Fills the room, looks like real wood. Perfect addition to the room. Easy assembly, prompt shipping. Very happy with this product.
